Why we collect information

Ultra Tune provides customers automotive repair maintenance and servicing (including related retail sale of automotive parts) of customer’s motor vehicles.

We require to collect certain information from you in order to provide the above services but also to ensure that we can provide a quality and personalise service to you.

Ultra Tune is a franchise system of service centres around New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria and Western Australia.

How we collect the information

The information we collect is, in most cases, provided when you have your motor vehicle first service by us. We have collect additional information during subsequent telephone conversations and services. We may also collect information from you when you make an enquiry with us either by telephone, Internet or in person. We may add additional information from external sources to your information, in order to verify the accuracy of your information.

What we collect

The information we may collect from you, includes name and address, contact telephone numbers including mobile, email address, accounting information, and vehicle details and history. We may also collect additional details in order to provide a service to you.

This information is not legally required but is required in order to provide our services. If you choose not to provide this information, we may not be able to provide you with our services to your vehicle.

Who we may share your information with

The information may be used and disclosed to Ultra Tune Service Centres, the Franchisor and other third parties for the purpose of administration, repair, credit applications and other matters relating to you or your vehicle. Information may also be used and disclosed for the purpose of marketing, promotions, customer surveys and warranty issues

From time to time we may provide de-identified and aggregated information to third parties for various purposes.

In addition, we may disclose your information to:

  • Your authorised representatives or your legal advisers;
  • Credit reporting and fraud checking agencies;
  • Ultra Tune related companies (such as Roadside);
  • Ultra Tune professional advisors, including its accountants, auditor and lawyers; and
